Matthijs Wiersma

Matthijs joined the Amsterdam ArenA in December 2007 and is specialised in operational management, project management, event management and training & support.

After finishing his degree in Sport Management at the Hanzehogeschool in Groningen in 2003 he went to Australia to obtain his Master degree in Sport & Business at Deakin University in Melbourne in 2005. Matthijs has been involved with the operations of the 2005 Deaflympic Games in Melbourne, the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and the 2006 Doha Asian Games in Qatar.
